I was born and raised in Alaska where I spent much of my childhood catching frogs and picking wildflowers. Now I am a painter and botanist living on a carnivorous plant farm near the Gulf Coast of Alabama. My paintings are influenced by my love for science and nature, but especially plants. I use much of my botanical knowlegde in my detailed paintings to share the beautiful wolrd of botany, which is a never-ending source of inspiration to me. Thank you for looking!
